A competitor can win a round by securing a submission, which can be physical (tapping visibly or with a foot if arms are trapped) or verbal (saying “tap” or screaming). If there is no submission, the round will be declared a draw. All matches will have 2 rounds. A competitor will be declared the winner if they win one round and tie the other. If tied after three rounds, the match goes into sudden death, where the first competitor to score a point wins.
If the match is tied, it moves to sudden death. The first competitor to score a point in sudden death, through moves like a guard pass, mount, back mount, or knee-on-belly, will win the match.
Competitors are not allowed to strike, eye poke, impact small joints, open the car doors, or grip the rash guard of themselves or their opponents.
Yes, competitors can use all items inside the car, including the seatbelt, seat adjustments, steering wheel, and more. However, any part of the car that becomes disconnected or broken is disqualified from use.
